Cameron has a Bachelor of Aviation (Bav), Postgraduate Diploma in Aviation (PGDipAV) and a Master of Management (MMgt) in Aviation.

He is currently studying part time toward a doctorate which focuses on the relationship between operational levels of fatigue in airline pilots and specific simulated flight data analysis events.

He works in the aviation industry and has involvement with Safety Management Systems (SMS), Flight Operations Quality Assurance (FOQA) and Fatigue Risk Management (FRM).
